Brief: This
release was notoriously problematic, with video glitches,
soundtrack encoding errors and a print of Escape in Time
which was missing its closing tag scene. To their credit,
Contender acted quickly and buyers were able to send their
disc back and have a replacement sent, containing a complete
print of Escape in Time. |

licence to release The Avengers on 30th June 2003 before they could issue the
complete set of surviving episodes on DVD. The episodes from Series 1
