Unfortunately, Contender lost their licence to release The Avengers on 30th June 2003 before they could issue the complete set of surviving episodes on DVD. The episodes from Series 1 and 2 would not be released in the United Kingdom until 2009, when they were issued by StudioCanal (see separate page).
