(1) This episode was shown in place
of The Rotters,
which was billed in TV Times magazine. Newspaper listings confirm this
substitution and The Rotters received its broadcast in the Yorkshire region
three weeks later on Saturday 1st February 1969.
(2) With other regions showing Get-A-Way! in place of
Killer on the day before this transmission, this stated broadcast must be
questioned.
(3) On Wednesday 19th March 1969,
three days before Who Was That Man I Saw You With?
was due to be transmitted by Yorkshire Television, the Emley Moor
transmission mast — which covered West and North Yorkshire and North
Derbyshire — collapsed due to a build-up of ice on both the mast and
the guide cables.
This meant that the intended transmission of Who Was That Man I Saw
You With? on Saturday 22nd March 1969 could not be received
anywhere in the Yorkshire Television region. Who Was
That Man I Saw You With? was eventually re-scheduled and
transmitted on Yorkshire Television on Saturday 10th May 1969.
(4) A 61 metre temporary mast was erected by the
ITA the following day to give a reduced service and so Homicide and
Old Lace was shown the following week — but those in outlying
parts of the region may have had a poor signal. The ITA then acquired
a 204 metre mast from the Swedish Army and this was up and running in
28 days to resume a more or less full service. However, it wasn't
until January 1971 that the current concrete tower/mast came on line.
