information, The Avengers Declassified presents a brief guide
to the ITV network as it stood in 1961. At this stage, there were no
ITV broadcasts in much of Wales and several of the regions on the map
above actually started broadcasting during the first year of The
Avengers. Some broadcasters, such as Associated-Rediffusion, did
not carry Avengers episodes at all, but are included to present a full
picture of British regional broadcasting. Background colours relate to
those on the map above.
