(2) Considering that this episode of The New Avengers was rescheduled by Central on Thursday 21st February 1991, only a short while after this initial listing, it is likely that this broadcast did not go ahead as planned.
(3) It appears that this transmission did not go ahead due to Gulf War coverage, specifically an extended News at Ten that affected the subsequent schedule and a late night edition of Gulf Report. Hostage was rescheduled and shown on Thursday 28th February 1991.
(4) Original start time billed in TV Times was 1.35am.
(5) The London edition of TV Times noted The New Avengers in this timeslot in their Regional Variations for Central Television. However, the Midlands edition of TV Times and newspapers suggested otherwise.
