Original Springbok Radio Announcement
Taken from John Wright's tape of Episode Five of The Joker, this is the only introductory Springbok Radio announcement that exists on any Avengers recording.

The Great Gong Robbery: The Avengers
This was a forty-minute comedy devised and written by Donald Monat and June Dixon to mark the Silver Jubilee of Springbok Radio. The programme was broadcast live from the SABC Variety Theatre in Broadcast House, Johannesburg on 30th April 1975. The Great Gong Robbery was produced by Donald Monat and the excerpt here comprises the Avengers section of the broadcast. It features Donald Monat and Diane Appleby reprising their original roles and fellow radio Avengers actor Hal Orlandini as an Afrikaner policeman.
