Brief: Brief:
The set utilised the 1990 transfers made by Lumiere. It
polished off the remaining Avengers episodes unreleased in
the USA. In a move from the norm, the set contained four
discs rather than two, comprising fourteen episodes. All episodes had their
'break bumper' cards excised. |

Brief: A hugely
disappointing repackage of the same old NTSC masters when
superior restorations were easily available. This set, while
affordable, even omits the bonus disc which was present in
the 2006 Emma Peel Megaset released by A&E. The packaging is
a fat plastic case containing all sixteen discs on trays,
with no internal artwork. The cover erroneously professes
that the set contains three complete seasons of Emma Peel
episodes, drawing no doubt upon fan theories that Series 5A
and 5B comprise two separate seasons. While this is
arguable, it goes against the way in which the series has
been issued everywhere else in the world. |
