A partwork series was produced in Italy by Hobby Work in association with Yamato Video, the licensees of The Avengers in Italy in the early Noughties. Each dual-layer disc came with a collectible 16-page full-colour DVD booklet containing features on the episodes contained on the accompanying DVD and the wider history of the series. The discs themselves featured text-based extras, including biographies of regular actors and actresses, guest stars and production personnel. While undoubtedly collectible and attractive, the collection skips twelve episodes across the set, making it distinctly less than definitive. It is also rather amusing to note that the Steed and Peel silhouette is from the Warner Bros. movie rather than the TV series.
