|
Brief: This
release comprised seven episodes that had not been aired in
Italy since 1969. What the Butler Saw was completely 'new'
to Italian audiences, not having been screened originally.
Episodes included footage originally edited from the Italian
dubbed prints — these restored sequences were subtitled in
Italian. The discs also featured English language tracks
with locked Italian subtitles.
Yamato Video went on to
sub-license The Avengers to a news stand publisher, Hobby &
Work, who published episodes from Series 4, 5 and 6 in
fortnightly editions, commencing in January 2004. See the
Italian DVD partwork page for further details (coming soon). |
