For two months from February 2009, it was only possible to purchase the set from Weltbild.de or physical Weltbild stores. (*) Three episodes on this DVD set, The Grave-Diggers, Castle De'ath and The Thirteenth Hole were issued in heavily edited versions. Kinowelt included the missing sequences in the extras as deleted scenes and added a bonus disc to the subsequent set containing these three episodes in their unedited forms. However, The Girl from Auntie and The House That Jack Built are also cut, in common with the French releases, and the missing footage is not presented in the extras. These DVDs contain original English and dubbed German audio and no subtitles. The prints are unrestored. Regarding the deleted scenes: The deleted scene from The Grave-Diggers is absent on the StudioCanal DVD issued in France but is present on the Contender edition. The deleted scenes from Castle De'ath are all present in the Contender UK version. The deleted scene from Too Many Christmas Trees is actually a shorter, truncated version of the opening, so is technically 'alternate' rather than deleted. The deleted scenes from The Thirteenth Hole are almost entirely missing from the StudioCanal French DVD. Some appear on the Contender UK edition, but there is still a minute's worth of missing material here in German!
