(1) This was a late replacement for an episode of A Family at War, which was unavailable for broadcast due to a technicians' strike at Granada Television. However, the fact that the Avengers episode in question was rescheduled a couple of months later suggests that the broadcast did not go ahead. The FIFA Football World Cup 1970 was in progress at that time and could possibly have led to a last minute alteration to the schedule.
(2) The fact that The Joker was resecheduled at the end of the Thames Television Series 5 repeat run suggests that the December transmission did not go ahead.
