Girl Who Has Everything which had been shifted equally
precipitately to Friday 6th March at 7.30pm. This is confirmed in
several local newspapers including stop press announcements in the
Huddersfield Daily Examiner of Friday 6th March 1970 and
the Huddersfield Weekly Examiner of Saturday 7th March 1970.
(2) Granada technicians were on strike from 26th May to 22nd
June 1970, a dispute which led to the suspension of Granada Television
transmissions and Granada programmes to be withheld from other ITV
broadcasters for its duration. Consequently, Granada's planned
Avengers repeat screenings during this period were not
transmitted.
