United Kingdom |

Alan Hayes and his wife
Alys Hayes close Second Sight — The Avengers Image
Archive some two years after they launched it, preferring to

removed from TheAvengers.TV server by mutual agreement as,
being an image site, it is heavy on bandwidth and space. The
images are re-sized and are subsumed into The Avengers Forever. |

Hayes are contacted by South African radio enthusiast John
Wright, who reveals that he has reel-to-reel tapes of the

to donate them to the site, with the Hayeses paying his shipping
costs. Alan and Alys are pleased to agree and the recovered tapes,
which include six serials which have not been in circulation, are
soon being restored and shared with Avengers fans with the
approval of the South African broadcast archives. |
